People who are really serious about software should make their own hardware.
I am working as CTO in a small software house, but spends most of my spare-time having a good time with three kids and my wifey. When everybody falls asleep in the evening I am taking out my Gadgeteer boxes and tries to develop concepts for biology research on mammals, mostly measuring traffic of deers. Furthermore I am working on a range of "secret" projects involving a range of exotic sensors, cellular communication and other stuff.
Helping companies to leverage new technologies, both hardware and software.
