GPS data loggers are very common. Using a serial GPS, we can easily get all needed data. Some nicer loggers save the GPD data on media cards. Some of these cost $400 or more! But none that can read data from a USB GPS.
Using USBwiz-BOX with USBwiz version 3 firmware, we can write scripts that can be loaded right inside USBwiz. This script can be used to read the GPS data from a USB GPD device. Then we can parse the data if we like. Finally, the data can be saved on an SD card or a USB thumb drive. All that with few hours of work and a low cost product!
This is just a starting point to what can be done. For example, we can connect a USB keyboard as well to command our scripts.
