Philips has a new ARM processor the LPC 2148 that has a USB port built in.
I am looking for a means of using the LCP 2148 with a USB 802.11 wireless stick to get data between the LCP2148 and my server via the internet. Anybody have a solution.

it seems like everyone is making this mistake!!!

USB "host" is NOT same as USB "device"

The chip you are talking about is a "device" this means it can be connected to a PC. Your PC is a "host"

USBwiz is a "host" this means USBwiz can be connected to and USB device but not a PC since the PC is another "host"

We are planing on supporting WiFi sticks but the Ethernet USB class is fairly new and most vendors are not supporting it yet.

Does this mean you will only support WIFI according to  devices which are within the Ethernet USB Class on the USBwiz?

Will you support existing Prism or Zydas based chipsets ?

There are hundreds of WiFi devices out there. It is impossible to support them all.

They cost too much. We want to support the lower cost ones $20
The problem is we need to get some info from the vendor in order for us to get it to work\

If you can provide us with some info on one of the wifi sticks out there, we will be more than happy to write drivers for it

Does prisim provide USB solutions?

As far as we know, the most common chip sets out there are Ralink and Zydas and this is what we are working on.
