Hello,

I'm new to the ChipworkX and micro framework. I have previous micro processor experience. AVR, Arduino, Parallax stamp and propeller. I've written some .net and .asp....

I'm runing windows 7 64 bit. Visual Studio 2008 "Version 9.0.30729.1 SP". .NET Micro Framework v4.0. ChipworkX SDK 1.0.1 (from release notes). Firmware Version: 01.01.000

I'm reading:
1) Beginners Guide to C# and .NET Micro Framework 1/20/2010 Rev 0.90
2) ChipworkX User Manual Rev. 1.01 Beta September 22, 2009

I'm getting this error when I try to deploy a default hello world project.

Error   1   Cannot deploy the base assembly 'mscorlib', or any of his satellite assemblies, to device - USB:Chipwork X twice. Assembly 'mscorlib' on the device has version 3.0.7186.0, while the program is trying to deploy version 4.0.1681.0

I assume I need to update hardware firmware. Correct? Do I need to update the TinyBooter?

I can connect to the board with the mf deploy tool. I use usb and chipworks then Target connect. When I attempt to deploy I receive an error connecting to TinyBooter Error: No response from device. The device switches from Waiting for debug commands to Waiting for MFDeploy where it waits until the No response from device error.

I read about updating the TinyClr when I hold down up/down/select and reset I never get any onscreen instructions as indicated in the above refrenced documentation. ??

Suggestions? Comments? FAQs I've missed?

thank you - Jeff

You have micro framework 4.0 installed but chipworkx currently support 3.0 only
the new firmware with 4.0 support will be available in about 2 weeks
