NETMF 4.0 support on GHI products

GHI was the first to test out NETMF 4.0, even in the pre-beta stage. Our devices running NETMF 4.0 were used at Microsoft Professional developer Conference. Visit this website for more details http://microsoftpdc.com/Sessions/FT28

For multiple reasons GHI decided not to publish 4.0 to the public just yet. We still want to add more of the GHI exclusive and free features and test 4.0 out even further. Also, 4.0 and 3.0 can't be installed on the same machine so once you move to 4.0 you can't easily go back to 3.0. Keep in mind that 4.0 doesn't add new important feature features on top of 3.0....it is mainly performance improvements and hold a new licencing model.

We expect NETMF 4.0 public release to be in January 2010. It will include all our NETMF products (ChipworkX, EMX, Embedded Master, USBizi, FEZ Mini and FEZ Domino...etc!)

4.0 is already out for FEZ (USBizi) on www.TinyCLR.com
EM and ChipworkX come next, this took longer than expected because we redesigned the GHI libraries for 4.0. The librarries will be the same for all our devices. See this http://ghielectronics.com/downloads/NETMF/Library%20Documentation/Index.html

4.0 will be out for USBizi in couple days, EM will follow next week and ChipworkX by end of this month.
