Ethernet ENC28 Module
This Ethernet Module gives a Gadgeteer mainboard instant access to networks and the internet. Not all Ethernet modules work on every board. This module is designed to work with SPI-based Ethernet support. This module is compatible with GHI's FEZ Hydra mainboard, FEZ Cerberus mainboard and FEZ Cerbuino Bee.
Important Note: Ethernet withdraws a lot of power so the system must be powered through a powered USB hub or the user needs to use an external DC power if USB Client DP module is being used.
Software support:
- Current Gadgeteer SDK doesn't include this module in the designer. It is still supported by a secondary provided firmware.
- A managed TCP/IP stack with ENC28 support is available, thanks to one of our community members.
