Education

We offer products that can be used anywhere from elementary schools to college level courses. We call these products Fast and Easy (FEZ). These products use .NET Micro Framework and .NET Gadgeteer, allowing students to write code using the industry standard Visual Studio (which has a free Express version).

Programming and Physical Computing

Today’s generations are surrounded by electronics. Almost any kid will tell you they want to "program a video game." If you showed them how to write a program on a PC to control a blinking light, their eyes light up with ideas. Let them move a robot with a few simple lines of code and they want to know more. Their interest should be shaped into a rewarding lifelong adventure in learning.

Knowledge for the Professional World

One of the weakest points in computer education is that students learn technologies made for school curriculums. This places a deep gap between what educators teach and the professional world. Our FEZ products are programmed using Visual Studio, which is one of the most common programming environments used by professional developers. Programs are written in C# or Visual Basic, two languages used by developers worldwide.

How Kinect, Smartphones and Programming are Reshaping High School

Tech-minded teachers from across the country gather on the Microsoft campus in Redmond, sharing some of the new ways they're incorporating technology into their classrooms. The event is the company's Partners in Learning U.S. Forum.

College and Professional Education

The modular system we offer includes some sophisticated components like the Wi-Fi module. Physical computing is now within the reach of every student. Computer science students can now connect sensors without having any electronics background. At the same time, Electrical Engineers can use advanced technologies with minimal efforts.

Ready-to-use Curriculum

This is a complete set of eight 1-hour classes with all the needed materials. It uses FEZ Spider which utilizes .NET Gadgeteer.
